CNC Bending (Press Brake)
Accurate press-brake forming for flanges, boxes, and complex bend sequences. We form laser-cut blanks into enclosures and brackets with DFM on bend reliefs and hole-to-bend spacing.

Frequently Asked Questions
What bend angles can you hold?
Shop standards apply unless CTQs are marked. Tight cosmetic angles may need sample approval.
Minimum flange length?
Depends on thickness and tooling—too-short flanges are hard to form. We flag on DFM.
Hole distortion near bends?
Holes too close to bends ovalize—follow hole-to-bend guidelines or pierce after form.
Do you unfold my STEP?
Yes—we can derive flats and review K-factor assumptions.
Aluminum cracking?
Some alloys/tempers need larger radii. Share alloy temper.
Hemming?
Available when tooling and thickness allow—ask on quote.
Lead time?
Simple brackets are fast; multi-bend boxes with coat take longer.
Certifications?
Soft capability language only.
CNC bending—service overview
Press-brake forming turns flat sheet into flanges, channels, and enclosures.
Choose CNC bending for prototypes and production formed parts without stamp dies.

DFM tips for CNC bending
- •Add bend reliefs where flanges meet.
- •Keep hole-to-bend distance adequate.
- •Specify inside radius when critical.
- •Avoid impossible bend sequences—send 3D.
- •Call cosmetic face and grain direction.
Inspection & QC
- ✓Bend angle checks.
- ✓Overall formed dims.
- ✓Flatness on panels when specified.
- ✓First-article photos on request.
Lead time & batch sizing
Prototype brackets often about a week class after DFM; complex coated enclosures longer. Ask for quantity breaks.
